TEENS, Inc.
Youth Corps

A SUMMER EMPLOYMENT & CONSERVATION
PROGRAM FOR YOUTH AGES 14-16

Our Story

Since 2005, TEENS, Inc. Youth Corps has treated over 1,700 acres of noxious weeds on public and private land.

In 2006, TEENS, Inc. Youth Corps won the Environmental NOVA award from the Boulder Community Foundation for its partnership with the U.S. Forest Service (USFS).

In 2017, we partnered with Nederland Area Trails Organization to complete work on the West Magnolia Trail System, and including 2 miles of trail maintenance and re-routes in 2017.

TEENS, Inc. Youth Corps may be abbreviated TYC and was formerly known as Mountain Youth Corps (MYC). We are a member of the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps.

“It’s great to see young, energetic people playing a role in creating wildfire-resistant homes in Boulder County. We are lucky to have TEENS, Inc. to assemble and train youth to help us get mitigation work done on the ground.”

Meet The 2025
Crew Leader

“Hi, my name is Alli! I grew up in New Hampshire and went to school for Biology at the University of Vermont.

“This will be my second year working with Teens, Inc. as the Youth Corp Crew Leader. I am excited to spend my summer working on conservation projects and meeting new people.

”In my free time I love to cook, hike and ski. I am looking forward to this summer!”

  • ALLI PRATT,
    2025 YC CREW LEADER

SEE YOU THIS SUMMER!

"Alli and her staff were amazing. We had a rather large project involving fire mitigation and the work was a little on the hard side collecting slash and firewood for removal and chipping. We could not have accomplished it with out their hard work! They were all very respectful and a delight to spend the day with. We will be happy to pass on our great experience to friends and neighbors."
